Mary Bricker

Performing Wednesday April 1st @ 7:30pm

Mary Bricker has appeared in over 100 plays and film projects in Central Iowa over the past [figure
redacted] years, starting at the ripe old age of 10, when she played the title character in The Wizard of
Oz. She especially enjoys the opportunity to participate in new works, including UTOPIA – The Iowa
Musical Review and Adore Us! Line (Robert John Ford); The Totally True, Completely Fictional Story of
the Mother of Jesse James (Cynthia Mercati); several new short plays for the 711 Theatre Project (with
the group Whirligigs), and at least twelve films through the 48-Hour Film Festival (most recently with the
group Mixed Pictures). She is very happy for the chance to perform White Rabbit Red Rabbit, as it is
such unique stage property in both format and subject–one that is starkly relevant to our current world,
and one that calls for open minds and hearts from both performer and audience. Mary is also grateful for
a life that allows her the luxury of time to spend with friends and family (aka “retirement”). Her many
off-stage interests include travel, yoga, thrifting, reading, cooking, games, puzzles, and spending quality
time with Chester Thee Cat.
